How is ContentForge different from using ChatGPT directly?: ChatGPT means copy, paste, prompt, paste back — for every product. ContentForge lives inside Shopify, syncs your catalog, holds a persistent brand voice, generates in bulk, and gives you a reviewable diff for every change. Same model class, completely different workflow.
Will the AI write off-brand or make things up about my products?: Brand voice profiles and banned-word lists keep tone in check. Generations are anchored to your existing product fields (title, tags, materials, ingredients) so the model rewrites — it doesn't invent. Anything you don't like, you reject in the diff view before it goes live.
What does this cost beyond the subscription?: Nothing. AI inference costs are included in the plan. We absorb the API spend so you can plan your monthly software bill with no surprises.
Does it work with Shopify Plus, Markets, and multi-language stores?: Yes. ContentForge is a Built-for-Shopify-style app that respects Markets, metafields, and translation locales. Multi-language generation is on the Scale plan.
